Arizona-M & Arizona-DO Physician Continuing Medical Education (CME) Requirements for Licensure Registration

Credit amount: For both MDs and DOs, Arizona And Arizona-DO requires 40 hours of CME credits per licensure cycle. For DOs, 24 hours must be AOA Category 1-A, and no more than 16 hours are to be obtained annually by completing a CME classified as AMA PRA Category 1™ credit by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).
