Oklahoma Physician Continuing Medical Education (CME) Requirements for Licensure Registration

Credit amount:

For MDs, Oklahoma requires 60 Category 1 CME hours per licensure cycle
For DOs, Oklahoma requires 16 CME hours per licensure cycle

AMA/ACOG/AAFP/AOA: 60

CME/Year: 60

Hours/Year: 20

Licensure cycle: 3 years

Equivalent Certificates: AMA PRA, ABMS, GME+

Topics: Both MDs and DOs who prescribe controlled substances are required to complete 1 hour of approved CME about pain management per licensure cycle, including +50 hours for each year of GME.
