Arkansas Physician Continuing Medical Education (CME) Requirements for Licensure Registration

Credit amount: 20 hours of CME credits per licensure cycle, half of which must be Category 1 in the physician’s primary area of practice.

CME/Year: 20

Hours/Year: 20

Licensure cycle: 1 year— expiring the last day of the licensee’s birth month.

Equivalent Certificates:AOA, ABMS, GME

Topics: Effective beginning the 2019 renewal cycle, Arkansas physicians must complete 1 hour of CME related to opioids and benzodiazepines.
